Miley Cyrus Adopts An Abandoned Bulldog

Miley Cyrus's adopted Bulldog

A bulldog who was left abandoned and captured the hearts of California firefighters has found a permanent home with singer and actress Miley Cyrus.

When Daisy, the bulldog, arrived at North Central Fire Protection District Station 58 in Fresno, California, in late April, she was severely dehydrated and emaciated.

"The crews mentioned she was covered in fleas and had a strong odor. It was clear she had been wandering for a while," explained Jacob McAfee, the station's deputy fire chief. "It was evident she was abandoned or a stray."

Daisy stayed at the station for about a week, resting on the doormat leading into the fire station, despite her poor health. She made sure to bid farewell to the firefighters as they left for their calls.

Eventually, the firefighters realized they needed to help her find a new home. After a brief foster period, Daisy ended up at The Wagmor Hotel and Pet Spa in Los Angeles for adoption.

Following extensive care and rehabilitation, Daisy was featured on the spa's Instagram page in search of a forever home. Despite having many fans, she struggled to find an adopter until Miley Cyrus expressed interest.

Miley, who had previously adopted dogs from the agency, brought Daisy to the set of her music video and became attached to the bulldog. She nursed Daisy back to health, consulted specialists, and even changed her diet and medications.

In early August, Miley decided that Daisy, now renamed Kate Moss, had already found her forever home—with her. Kate is now "living her best life and receiving the royal treatment," according to the pet spa owner.

This remarkable journey, from an abandoned dog in front of a fire station to a life of luxury with Miley Cyrus, has left both the firefighters and Daisy herself in awe.

Did You Know There Is A Bulldog Superhero?

What Are Lockjaw's Origin and Background?

Did you know that there is a bulldog superhero! He first appeared in Fantastic Four #45 (December 1965), and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Lockjaw, the bulldog superhero, is a unique and endearing character that has captured the hearts of comic book enthusiasts worldwide.

Lockjaw hails from the Inhuman city of Attilan on the Blue Area of the Moon, where he was exposed to the Terrigen Mists—a transformative substance that grants superhuman abilities to Inhumans. Originally a mere bulldog named Lockjaw, he was subjected to the Terrigen Mists, resulting in a remarkable transformation. Lockjaw gained incredible strength, durability, and the power of teleportation. His iconic tuning fork-shaped antenna adorning his forehead became a symbol of his newfound abilities.

What Powers And Abilities Does Lockjaw Have?

So now that there is a superhero bulldog. You may be wondering what are his powers? For starters he is an extremely large bulldog. Wikipedia lists his powers as being teleportation, precognition, super canine jaw strength and matter ingestion. Apparently he eats things like robots for food. I'll bet you that he also has the worst farts of any bulldog in the universe as well. This I find to be an overlooked superhero ability. He teleports himself and others across vast distances. This skill allows him to traverse dimensions, making him an invaluable asset to various superhero teams, including the Inhumans, the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers. Lockjaw's teleportation ability is not only impressive but also essential in a multitude of high-stakes situations, providing his allies with a strategic advantage.

Lockjaw's strength and durability are equally noteworthy. As a result of the Terrigenesis process, he possesses enhanced physical attributes, allowing him to withstand formidable attacks and lift objects far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary bulldog. This combination of teleportation, strength, and durability make Lockjaw a formidable force on the battlefield.

Where can you see lockjaw?

You can find lockjaw in Marvel comic books. Mostly in the Inhumans comic books and most recently in the Inhumans tv show

If I ever do get around to watching the Inhumans tv show it'll be because of this guy!

Hilarious Ad Featuring British Bulldog Promotes A Global Wine Brand

(VIDEO BELOW)
Tussock Jumper (A global wine brand) is adding a little English fizz to the mix, with a label featuring a bulldog in a red sweater.

The brand sources wine from around the world, signifying the country of origin with the emblematic animal of each nation, always in a red jumper.

With a sheep for New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and a bull for Spanish Tempranillo, co-founder of the brand, Gert-Jan van Arkel, told db at an event last week that he would like to add an English sparkling to the range – and has chosen a British bulldog to represent the wine.

He has even commissioned an amusing mini-video in partnership with Amazon as part of a digital campaign to promote the wine – which can be viewed here – although he has yet to go ahead with the product, or find a partner to provide the fizz.

Tussock Jumper was founded in 2009 and today sells as many as three million bottles per year worldwide with 21 wines in the range, all of which are bottled at source. The brand has, however, yet to penetrate the UK market, but it is thought that the addition of an English fizz might be one route to bring the label to British consumers.

At the moment, the only sparkling wine in the line-up is a Prosecco, featuring a fox in a red woollen jumper on the label. As previously reported by the drinks business, Tussock Jumper has brought ‘wine to life’ with an augmented reality (AR) app, allowing any consumer armed with a smartphone to activate the animals that feature on each of the 21 different wines in the Tussock Jumper range
