Top 9 Best Bulldog Commercials Of All Time!!!

Usually when we watch TV or surf the internet, we try to avoid commercials. Sometimes though those commercials are ridiculously entertaining and cute. Seems like it's usually when they feature adorable animals.

A favorite breed of dog used is of course the Bulldog.

Petsmart has at least 5 commercials that feature or have a Bulldog in them.

Let us know. Which is your favorite?

1) Petsmart's oldest commercial

2) Geico's "Running of the Bulldogs" I think is my favorite
 3) Sketchers commercial where a french bulldog named Mr Quiggley takes part in a bulldog race

4) VW decide to include a Bulldog in one of its commericals. I guess they sell a lot of cars in the UK.

5) Mini Cooper's "Big Dog".

6) Twix, the candy company decide to include an adorable little bulldog puppy

7) Fellowes makes paper shredder's. They also have a bulldog right on their company logo. I guess its fitting considering most Bulldogs are basically drooling paper shredders themselves.

8) Mini Cooper's second ad. "Cute MINI of Knoxville MINI" Cooper Commercial with Bulldog The English Bulldog is the animal mascot of MINI because of MINI's British heritage and the fact that MINIs are designed with a wide, "bulldog like" stance for stability!

9) Another Petsmart commercial. This time our hero is in the desert. What will happen to him?

Learn How To Clean Your Dog's Ears

This is a great instructional video from a trained veterinarian on how to clean a dogs ear properly using vinegar, water and a Q-tip or cotton ball.

In the video she discussed what to use and mostly how to use it.

She does not however explain the ratio of water to vinegar. Always best to make it too weak rather than too strong otherwise it could really annoy you dog. Potentially even drying out their ear and causing a bigger problem.

Gross but good example of what they should and shouldn't look like

UI usually buy dog ear cleaning pads. Then you don;t have to worry about getting the right mixture of solution. They are cheap, portable and disposable. I usually buy this brand of Ear Cleansing Pads .

If your not a big fan of pads and prefer Q-tips or cotton balls there is a premade solution to clean dogs ear with. It has a ton of excellent reviews and is really cheaper than a bottle of vinegar. EcoEars Dog Cleaning Infection Formula can also be used to clean other areas of the dog as well.

This Bulldog Prefers To Have His Butt Cleaned Over His Ears

Learn how to clean your dogs ears properly

Everyone has to keep their bulldog clean and tidy in order to maintain optimal health. Some dogs ears can get infected with allergies, so ear cleaning is part of that and should be done on a regular basis.

Unfortunately for Reuben the Bulldog's owner he isn't interested in having his ears cleaned.

In fact when Ruben's owner whips out the Q-tip Ruben turns around and points his butt towards the Q-Tip.

I guess he wants his butt detailed rather than his ears! HAHAHA

Ruben like so many children don't like to get their ears cleaned

Does Your Bulldog Really Need Winter Cloths?

This issue can be a hot button topic amongst many dog owners. Dogs have evolved over millions of years to survive outside to endure the elements. They have natural hair that protects them. Many dogs are not as used to snow.

My Bulldog Cash loves the snow and My Husky Mishka loves can't get enough of it even when it hits -20.

Some veterinarians like  Dr. Rachel Barrack, from http://www.animalacupuncture.com/ state that there is only so much curling up a dog can do. Some dogs are much more active than others which creates more body heat. Also you need to take into consideration how old they are and any special health conditions they may have.

The best way to test is just to bring them outside and see if they adapt. If they start to shiver and get cold quickly or slow down them bring them back inside. Note the weather conditions outside. Sometimes even if you think they need a coat or jacket they will not want to wear it.

Uk Shelter Takes Legal Action To Get Adopted Puppy Back After Owner Was Caught Trying To Resell At A Markup

Picture of Pine Green from the WAGS shelter
An animal shelter in Westminster UK is seeking the return of a French bulldog that was adopted for $500 but then put online for sale at $1,450.

The dogs name "Pine Green" was seized from a suspected breeder in November along with 78 other dogs.

When the shelter found out he had showed up on Craigslist for the large markup they decide to get legal help to get the frenchie back.

The people at WAGS shelter just want to make sure the pups go to homes  with people who would love them and care for them like any good dog deserves. Despite the prices the shelter was charging for special adoption fees of $500 for adults and $800 for puppies, the shelter received nearly 4,000 applications for the 78 dogs, and why wouldn’t they?

Usually the French and English bulldog breeds go for thousands of dollars on the open market.

WAGS issued this statement on their Facebook page "No attempt was made to us to return the dog if it wasn’t working out! This is a despicable act and the entire WAGS team is just disgusted … .” The Craigslist ad, which the shelter managed to get removed, asked $1,450 for the dog, which was described as “cute, kid-friendly (and) social.”
Apparently there are still 6 English and French bulldogs that are still available for adoption.

You can learn more about the puppies and WAGS here checking out their photos on WAGS Facebook page or you can email cortney@wagspetadoption.org to request an application.

It makes me wonder though how often this happens. Not just with bulldogs but with all animals.

Ever Seen A Bulldog Chihuahua Mix?

For some reason this little guy reminds me of Gizmo from the movie "Gremlins."

Both very cute!

An unusual mix but actually a good one for french bulldog breed. Usually they tend to have larger ears.

This mix is often referred to as a French Bullhuahua, French Chihuahua, Frencheenie, or a Mexican Frenchie.

A great video I found on Youtube. This Bullhuahua's mom is a french bulldog and his dad a chihuahua.Fully grown weighing 3.4 kg, and 26 cm tall.

I have no experience dealing with this breed but I have a lot of experience dealing with Chihuahua's. They are often very very crazy little dogs.

Very temperamental and yappy as shown in the video below
